- [Instructor] Okay, so I'm just going to select the link to PSD here in this Illustrator document, because there are some operations that do require you to embed an image, such as if you wanted to create an object mosaic for example, which allows you to turn an image into tiles, it does need to be embedded for that. And there are a couple of others that I can't actually recall immediately off the top of my head. But should you need to do it and include all of that binary data in your Illustrator file, you can see there's an embed link here in the control strip. And you also get that in the quick actions area of the properties panel. And it really is as simple as that, pretty much. You click embed that determine how you would like Illustrator to interpret the Photoshop file into something it can store inside itself.
