- [Instructor] Here's the technique that involves combining exclude overlap and skewed type on a path. My type is in Funky Dory and this I found by coming and clicking on more fonts at the bottom of my fonts list and it's not surprisingly in the funky category. Before I go any further, I'd like to just adjust the letter spacing on the type. So I'll come and click on my letter spacing option, on my common task bar and drag to the left. Next, I want to put the type on a path. I'm going to draw a path with the pencil tool. I'll select the piece of type come to my touch modifier, move to the outer ring and drag that onto the path. To give the type more movement, I'm now going to come to my type on a path options and switch from rainbow to skew. I'll now need to outline the text on the type panel outline text, type done.
