Expanding a traced image

- [Narrator] Now at this point, we have this wonderful tree. But, we also have a bunch of garbage over here on the right- and left-hand sides of the document. What I want is a tree all by itself. And so, what we're going to do is we're going to take that image trace, we'll expand it to static path outlines, and then we'll reshape those path outlines using a combination of the white arrow and the pen tool. All right, so go ahead and grab your black arrow tool up here at the top of the toolbox, and click anywhere in the black tree, in order to select this entire object and notice up here in the top left corner of the properties panel, we're seeing the words image tracing, which indicates that we've selected a special variety of dynamic object here inside illustrator, which means if I were to click on this little panel option right here, that I would bring up the image trace panel.
