Exploring type casing and weight

The client has expressed a strong preference for bold, Sans Serif type, potentially, italicized to give a feeling of movement. They sent me a picture of this album cover as an example of the style they're after. I want to use this as a starting point. When I asked the band what adjectives describe them, these were their responses: stark, intense, taut, dreamy, cool. I'm keeping these in mind as I begin to work with type. So I don't overlook possibilities, I want to build this up gradually. I'm going to start out with PT Sans Bold. I could have chosen numerous type faces as my starting point but I chose this for the following reasons. It's not Helvetica or Futura or Myriad, or any other commonly used Sans Serif but at the same time, it has some of the qualities of those typefaces. It's relatively neutral, highly legible and has a high X height.
