- [Instructor] It may be that you need to export your Illustrator file to another format and one of the options you have is the Export As dialog. The lives in the File menu and down in the Export sub-menu and it's in the middle of the three options there. From there, you choose a location where your file is going to go and then choose an appropriate format. Not everything lends itself, for example, to an AutoCAD file and not everything lends itself to a Photoshop file. So you will know what it is you need to export to. I'll use Photoshop as a for instance in this case and export here because it's one of the more common things that people do because they like to do a bit of fine tuning or some over painting in Photoshop. The option here, Use Artboards, makes sure that the document is the same size as your Illustrator document.
