Export your file in the EPS format

- [Instructor] Learn how to save your document as an EPS file. EPS stands for Encapsulated PostScript. This is a widely supported graphic file format for saving images and artworks. If you need to send an artwork to a professional printer, or to your client, in order to create a sticker or a product with a specialty finishing, like laser cut, engraving or embroidery, exporting your work to EPS ensure compatibility with the client's or printer's operating system and design application, while preserving the integrity of your file. To save your file as an EPS, click File, Save As, and choose a location in your machine for the EPS file, and don't forget to name your file. Click on the down pointing arrow at the bottom of the window, and then select illustrator EPS, the .eps extension, as the file type.
