Exporting to Adobe Photoshop
- [Instructor] There are times where you want to take the artwork that you have from Adobe Illustrator, and then export that artwork into Adobe Photoshop, because you want to add lighting and you want to stylize the design, you want to add shading or shadow effects or maybe textures. And getting your artwork from Adobe Illustrator into Photoshop is something that is relatively easy to do, but you have to take into account that you have to set a few settings. Now, how does it work? Here in Illustrator, I have my basic pill icon, and if I take a look at the Layers panel, you can see that I have one layer. If I twirl open that one layer, you can see that I have various objects in that layer. Now, in order to export to Photoshop, click File, choose Export, and then choose Export As, and then choose PSD from the pull-down menu. I'm going to call this one Test just for now.
