Global swatches

- [Instructor] Global swatches are incredibly powerful in that they allow you to change the color of several objects with a few clicks of the mouse. Let me show you how these work. I'm gonna open my swatches panel just to make this a little bit easier to see. I'm just gonna come up here and choose window, and go to swatches, I'll just position this over here. What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna select the star in the background here and you'll notice that this object has a swatch applied to it. You can see it here because it's highlighted. The swatch is called golden gate. As I'm working on my artwork, let's say for example, I wanted to change the color of that golden gate swatch. What I can do is I can double click on that swatch and I can modify the color. I'm gonna make a drastic change here so we can see the difference. I'll make this like a green color. When I click OK, you're gonna notice that the swatch itself changed, but the content that had that color applied did not update. The…
