- [Instructor] In this chapter, we'll discuss the preparation steps you should be aware of when animating a multilayered illustrator file inside After Effects. Luckily, After Effects and Illustrator work very nicely together. After Effects can read Illustrator layers natively and can also maintain their vector quality as well as convert them to its own native vector shapes. By the way, this design was created by Tomer Jerry and it is taken from another course that I have here in the library and the name of it is "Social Tech Infographics." If you want to understand the context of this design, you can check out this course where, among other things, you will learn how to approach complex motion graphics projects.
