- [Narrator] Often the initial letter of a company forms the basis of the logo. Here are some logos based on initial letters. for creating such a logo. and in the third example, there's a marked distinction Perhaps we don't want serifs at all, or perhaps we want a script type, or a decorative type. Then of course, we need to ask the question, do we want it to be lowercase? Should it be a square or I'm going to come to my Appearance panel, I want the stroke, in this case, to be white. I'm going to increase its white. And then I'm going to move the stroke beneath the fill. Now because we're on a white background, we're not going to see that for a moment. But then, with the stroke selected, I'm going to add another stroke. Now this second stroke needs to be, and it needs to be heavier than the first stroke. So what we've created there is a sandwich with the 10 point white stroke providing the air around the letter shape. Now what we can do in addition is offset this stroke. If I select…
