- [Deke] Now we're going to take a look at the Home screen which appears any time that no document is open here inside Illustrator. Now, I want you to note that I'm recording this and all of the following movies on a PC. And that's because Adobe has taken special care to make sure that Illustrator provides you with the exact same experience regardless of platform. But if anything is even slightly different on a Mac, I will let you know as I do it twice inside this movie. All right, so notice that I have a single document open, as indicated by this lone title tab up here at the top of the screen which happens to read Welcome.ai. If I were to close this file by clicking on the X, which appears on the right side of the title tab on the PC, it appears on the left side of the title tab on the Mac. Then I will not only close the document, but I'll also bring up the Home screen, which starts with a list of new document presets. You…
