- [Instructor] Isolation mode is a huge time saver when working with complex artwork in Illustrator. Embracing isolation mode will help you to work faster in Illustrator and with less effort. In this file that I have open right now, if you click on it, you'll notice that we have a bunch of items that have been grouped together and to get a better view of this, I'm actually gonna open the layers panel and if I open this up, you're gonna see that I have inside of layer one, I have a group, but then within that group, I have some other groups. I'm just gonna open this up, I have a group here, I have a group here, and then I also have a bunch of individual objects that are residing inside of that group. Now, in a normal situation, what a lot of people will do is they'll select this object and they'll come up here to the object menu and choose ungroup, and then they can get inside of there and modify elements. But then the problem is, is you have to go back and regroup that again. When…
