- [Instructor] The Layers panel is a great tool for managing and organizing the content in a document. Let's take a look at some great tips to make the process easier. Now, in this document that I have open, I've opened up the Layers panel already and you can see that we have one layer in here called Layer 1, and that's what you're gonna see in every document that you create in Illustrator. Now, you can benefit by organizing your content in a number of different ways, but one way is to divide your content up into multiple layers. So one way that I'm gonna do that is I'm gonna start by creating a couple of new layers. So you'll notice that if you click the New Layer button, it just creates a new default layer called Layer 2. Now, you can, of course, just double-click on this and give it a new name, so I'm gonna go ahead and call this one Text, but you can speed up the process and give yourself more control if you hold down the Alt or Option key as you click the Create New Layer button,…
