- In this movie, we're going to to draw a pair of leggings so I can show you a couple of more things hidden inside Illustrator. Let's start with the pen tool. Click up here. I'm going to to click down at the hem 'cause I want them opened up a little bit wider so I'm clicking off to the right. I want the opening of my legging to be fairly narrow. And then I'm going to go back and click here at the crotch. With the anchor point tool, we'll curve this out around the hip, and then we'll curve this piece here to match. And that's one half of our leggings. We'll zoom into the hem, grab the anchor point tool and we're going to give this just a soft little curve. Now we can select this, and O to reflect. Option click on the center guide, vertical copy, and that gives us the other side. We'll select both pieces and right click join, right click join. So that takes care of the basic shape. Let's move in and talk about the waist. We're going to curve the waistband with the anchor point tool…
