Lighting isometric objects: Part 2

- Now I wanna take the same principles of color that I talked about in the previous movie and kind of apply it to an isometric illustration in this movie. And like all of my isometric illustration, it's a lot easier to work out more complex shapes and kind of the elements needed for detailing in a 2D point of view. In this case, just flat, vector art. Most of this is created with basic shapes, such as the clock shape here. If I zoom in on this, you can see how I've actually built out my clock face here using a font, converted the paths, created the actual arms of the clock and all the elements needed to form like the pendulum, the face of the clock, the moulding,so on and so forth. So a lot easier to figure that out and build it in a flat point of view. Just a lot faster to do it that way. If you look at the base of the clock, once again, I have the moulding that's gonna be represented on the left, but on the right it's 90 degrees because when it's mitered together in an isometric…
