Live Shape properties

- [Instructor] The rectangle, ellipse, and polygon shapes all provide live shape adjustments that could be made after a shape is drawn. With the Selection tool active, click on the rectangle shape. Notice the corner widgets displayed in each corner of the rectangle. Click on any of the corner widgets and drag towards the center of the shape to round all of the corners simultaneously. To adjust only some of the corners, click on the Direct Selection tool and select the corners that you want to adjust by holding down the Shift key and then drag the widgets appropriately. Hold down the Alt or Option key as you click on a widget to cycle through the available corner options. Switch back to the Selection tool and click on the ellipse shape. Notice the adornment to the right. Click on that adornment and drag up to adjust the start angle. Click on the other adornment to adjust the ending angle to change the shape. Click on the polygon. The adornment to the right allows you to drag up to decrease the number of sides in the shape or drag down to increase the number of sides in the shape. The star shape does not have any live shape properties.
