- [Instructor] In this movie we're gonna take a look at logotype formats. How to take existing typefaces and customize them or create whole new letter forms from scratch using simple shape building methods and detailing. So let's jump into this. Now usually when I approach any branding projects, yes, I start working out the idea for the logo, the brand mark itself, but I also start exploring typefaces that might work great for the specific client or the identity that I wanna create for them and in this case it was for a local fitness club called Fitness Experience and I was trying to pick the typographic design that I think was gonna work best. And the one I ended up on is the one right here in the middle. So I'll go ahead and turn this on. You can see that this is based, well it's not based, it is the typeface Geometric 415 BT Black.
