Make what you're selling the star
- [Instructor] One of the most important aspects of laying out a sell sheet is to make what you are selling the star of the document with all other content acting as support. In the case of Sportiqe, this is done through a hero photo of people wearing Sportiqe apparel on the left hand side of the two-page spread and a small closeup product image on the right. With BooginHead sell sheets, products take center stage as large focal points to the left or the right of the text. In a tri-fold brochure, the central internal panel is the best place to showcase what you are selling. In all of these situations, the text should not compete with the product or services you are selling. It should instead act as support, offering breathing room around your product or service, unlike these examples. Referring back to BooginHead, the use of light gray text helps to ensure that the vibrant product imagery stands out. Adding shadow and lighting to the imagery makes it feel naturally placed on the page…
