Making corners smooth

- Illustrator allow you to round the corners of a rectangle by dragging a tiny circle that's known as the Round Corner widget, which means that you can make the rounded rectangle. Sounds like no big deal. But in truth, there's a lot you can do with a rounded rectangle. This, for example, not to mention this. And then, put them together to make this. Naturally, I'll show you how it all works, at length, in fact. But that's not the half of it. This Round Corner widget, it's not just a rectangle thing. It's applicable to any path outline that contains corner points, regardless of how you draw it. So let's say you lay down a bunch of corner points with the Pen tool. Just by clicking, nothing more, switch to the Wide Arrow tool, and all the corner points light up with Round Corner widgets. And then you can drag them to create smooth transitions on the fly. Sure, you can make rounded rectangles and then square off one or more corners any time you like. But you can also draw with these things, which is amazing, and between you and me, a whole lot of fun.
