Move points along a path
- [Instructor] When editing vector artwork, you may have situations where an anchor point isn't where you need it to be along a path. And if you try to move that point, you'll usually change the shape of the path, so instead you might try adding a point where you want it and then removing the point that you didn't want. But, even that might change the shape. It'd be a lot more efficient if there was a way to move a point along a path without changing its shape, and that's the reason Astute Graphics created the Reposition Point Tool. So, let's see how it works. Here in our exercise file, we have this artwork of the fish and some bubbles, and I'll start by zooming in on one of the bubbles. And let's say I wanted to reshape this area right here, move it to the right and make this curve a little bit smoother. I'll take the direct selection tool and click on this anchor point here, and you can see that it has one short…
