Offset action

- [Instructor] Another action that's very useful is offsetting a path and adding stitches. This is something that we'll use frequently on collars. Let's record it, I'm going to select the collar, click on new action, and we're going to call this offset stitches. Let's give it a color, let's do green and we're going to click record. The first step is to offset the path and we made a shortcut key for that earlier. Command + Q brings up the offset window. A negative number will offset the inside, a positive number will offset to the outside. For single stitches, an offset of negative one point works very nicely so we'll click OK and now we can go to our graphic styles and select the stitch's graphic style. Last thing is de-selecting, so select, de-select, and now we can stop recording. To finish it up, I would take the white arrow, click on this corner, delete the stitches I don't need and delete those and that takes care of the collar.
