Offsetting multiple paths: Inspired by Mexico '68

- [Instructor] I'd like to show you a technique for applying multiple offset paths. This can be applied to anything, but in this case I'll be using type. And this is inspired by the wonderful Mexico 68 Olympics logo. In order for this to work well, we need to begin with a type face thick and thin paths of the stroke, and is extremely thin. And the typeface that I'm using is called Lato Hairline, prepared, including the next few steps that So it's thin, but I'd like to make it thinner still, and I would like to round the joints more than we currently have. So with the type selected, I'm going to create outlines. Essentially I'll be taking this apart and then just putting it back together in a slightly different way. We lose the stroke when that happens, so let me reinstate the stroke so that the letters don't disappear, and I'll come and choose my scissors tool.
