Outlined and inlined type
- [Instructor] In this chapter, I'd like to look at some commonly used type effects, beginning with outline and inline type. Here are some examples of the kind of thing I'm talking about. These effects are easy to achieve In this first example I would like to add two offset paths to my piece of type on the right hand side. We're going to come to the Appearance Panel and on the Appearance Panel, bottom left I'll add a new fill. Change the color of that fill to white then I'm going to Duplicate that and I'm going to duplicate it again The second one down I will make black. I'm going to come to my effects to Path and to Offset Path. I'll turn on my preview and I would like this one to be Offset by three millimeters. Then I'll come to the bottommost fill, change its' color and I'll repeat that step, coming to my Offset Paths, increasing the amount of Offset in this case to five millimeters.
