Perform a basic search
- [Instructor] With Astute Graphics FindReplace, you can quickly locate, select and replace virtually any object in Adobe Illustrator artwork. You can make your search as flexible or precise as you need to and you can even use the geometry of objects as the basis for a search. In this movie, we'll begin our look at FindReplace by looking at its features and then performing a basic search. I'll open the FindReplace art panel from the Window menu, and the panel has two main sections. The top has controls for finding objects and the bottom has the Replace With options. The first menu in the panel is where you choose what kind of thing you want to find and/or replace. The options here include Groups, Paths, Guides, Rasterized Content and Embedded Images, Linked images, Symbols and so on.
