- [Instructor] OK, get yourself another brand new Illustrator document and what we're going to do here is we're going to look at applying some effects, notably Photoshop effects, directly inside of Illustrator. And we thought it might be a nice idea to show you how I build the background I use in many of my movies. It's sort of a thing that I like to have soft, grainy backgrounds. So we'll work on that together and build one out. What I'm going to do then is just collapse the Appearance panel for a moment and tap M to get the Rectangle Tool and then I'm going to draw a rectangle. Now I won't go edge to edge, so you can see the whole thing, we'll just go across like so. Draw a rectangle similar to that. Doesn't have to be anywhere near exact, just similar is fine. Now at the moment this has the default appearance of a white fill and a black stroke and I can see that the fill attribute is in front on the stack. You…
