Placing an Illustrator file
- [Instructor] Just going to do a quick save on my documents and with all of the layers locked, apart from the empty penguin layer, that's the one we're going to make active. And we're going to rename this logo just here, or in fact, actually, as we've got logos, let's call it Promoter, because that's the logo that we're going to add in here. And it's an Illustrator file. Same as you would with an image, shift command P, shift control P or place from the file menu, and you'll see there is an Illustrator file here thirtyThreeLogo.ai. Now, you might be wondering why we would place an Illustrator file rather than just pasting it in. Well sometimes, especially on bigger and complex documents, it's easier and more file-efficient to actually place other Illustrator documents, where possible.
