- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to begin work on a real world project, namely this cartoon avatar. Now just because it's a cartoon, doesn't mean it's easy to put together. In fact, if I press Control + A or Command + A on the Mac, in order to select all the path outlines, you can see that there are lots of them, and we have lots of anchor points as well. Which is why I've gone ahead and drawn what I consider to be the boring stuff upfront, so that we can focus our attention on the exciting stuff, such as the hair and the facial features and so forth. All right, now if you're working along with me, I recommend that you go over to the layers panel and you turn off a couple of layers, namely outlines and color. And that'll go ahead and reveal the tracing template, which appears on this template layer right here in the background.
