- [Instructor] Learning any program takes time and patience for anybody. But I can tell you from experience perseverance pays off. The more you learn about Illustrator or any software, for that matter, puts a hone tool in your hand and sets you up to do better work. You don't have to reinvent the wheel though. Many of the tips that I teach in this course are things that I've learned or have been taught by others that I find make a big difference when working in Illustrator. I don't want learning and using Illustrator to be arduous for you. I want it to be fun. The skills you'll learn in this course will help you to stand out from the rest because you're learning things that take many designers years to learn. All you need is a willingness to try new things and possibly change your current approach. With design, you're always learning and this applies to the tools you use as well. When I look back at projects that I've created years ago, I wish I had the skills that I have today because I could've completed those projects so much faster and with far less effort. I don't dwell on it though, because I use my skills each and every day now to produce content in a more effective way.
