- [Instructor] A key part of establishing a flexible identity system is having secondary brand graphic assets that can extend the visual vernacular across a broad range of usages. In this movie we're gonna take a look at several secondary brand graphics that align with the parent brand logo but provide more flexibility of usage. This was a design direction I developed for a project I worked on with an agency based out of Louisiana. And it is to come up with a new branding for Jena, Louisiana, a city in Louisiana. This was the custom logo type I created with the brand mark that kind of nests on top of it. Now the nice flexibility about this modular design is I can take that brand mark and use it in other ways for extending the brand. Not only that, we created this duotone oak leaf here to also use in other contexts, and this motif with the oak leaves in acorns over here.
