Set appropriate document settings

- [Instructor] One of the first things you should know for the Illustrator ACA exam is how to create new documents with appropriate settings for both print and onscreen projects. So let's take a look at how to do that. I'll start by clicking the Create New button here in the Illustrator home screen. And this opens the dialog box where I can choose all the settings for my new documents. In addition to recently used settings, I have access to lots of document presets that are organized into categories by their usage. So I have presets for Mobile devices, Web images, Print projects, Film and Video, and Art and Illustration. I'll choose Mobile. And here you can see presets for some popular device screens like iPhones and iPads. Click the View All Presets button to see more choices. I'm going to go with the iPhone 8/7/6 screen, so I'll click that once. And I can see this is going to be 750 pixels by 1334 in portrait orientation.
