Setting stroke options

- [Instructor] It is surprisingly easy to sabotage your own work in Illustrator, just because you missed a certain preference setting. In this video, we'll take a look at the importance of setting scaling options when working with geometry and other shapes using Adobe Illustrator. Here inside of Illustrator, I have a document open with three individual icons, each with a completely different style. But they all have very interesting options applied to them. For example, this very first icon has a bit of a scribble effect, and this is actually a live effect that was applied to this shape. So if we go up to the Window menu, and then choose appearance, you can see that there is an option set here for the fill of this specific object, it's called scribble.
