- [Instructor] Here's how we can make a shaded shadow, similar to this one. So let's begin with the type. Tap to make a point type text container and then double-tap inside of that to replace it with the text that you want. Let's increase the size of that. I'm going to come and change my font. The one that I want to use is WTR Gothic, Open shaded. This I got from coming to more fonts and then went to the shaded tag. So we already have the shading but I want to fill that shading with a pattern. So I need to take this apart and then put it back together in a different way. I'll come to the type panel and outline the text. I'll tap done and then I'll ungroup that. And then I'll come to the object panel and I need to release the compound path. So that's going to make all of the shapes black. I now want to separate out the shapes onto two layers. Holding down my touch modifier, I will select the letter shapes…
