- [Instructor] A variation of the simple shadow is where we see only the shadow itself. I'll select the type, duplicate it, offset it, come and change its color. Then we'll dismiss the colors and come and change its position in the stacking order. Now I need to re select the top version and come back and change its color. I'll use the eyedropper tool to make sure that we sample the color from the background. Now that works so long as you don't go changing your background color. And so long as your background color is solid and not a gradient.
