- [Instructor] Let's explore some options that we have for shaping our text containers. I should warn you that this is not really a feature and I don't think it's meant to do this the way I'm about to use it but we can make it, do it, nonetheless. We are going to have to jump through a few hoops to get what we want. I'll choose my type tool and click and drag to create my area type container. I'm going to work with justified type. Let's also just come and change its color. Now, if I want to switch from a rectangle to some sort of polygon, you might expect the direct selection tool to be your go to for that. Tap away from it, and then swipe over a corner so that you have a single anchor point selected but every time you try and move it, it selects all four anchor points. So instead, I'm going to use the pencil, click on the anchor point. Now if you click and hold down, you delete the anchor point that wasn't my intent…
