Single-item alignment
- This probably won't come as a surprise to you. But I make a lot of instructional documents like, a lot. And I'm going to show you how that generally starts. Okay, so what I do is I might have a nice background over all or some of the artboards. So I tap M, get my rectangle tool, sometimes I go to the center of the document, and hold down the Option key, and I draw outwards, like so and other times I don't, because I can't make up my mind if I want to go from edge to edge or not. So I just draw like that. And then I just do a couple of things to just change the background around, do whatever, like so on and so on, and carry on building from there. And it's this first step that I want to actually share with you because, while I can use the Smart Guide to align things, at this particular point that's really easy, because it's the only thing on here.
