- [Instructor] I'm here in a CMYK document in Illustrator and the way I can tell that, apart from of course secretly I know, is that in the title bar at the top, it tells me that it is in the CMYK mode. I could also get that information from a couple of other places, one of which is the Document Color Mode option in the File menu because Illustrator likes to just have the one set of output colors. You can put RBG images into a CMYK document but it doesn't like mixed swatches between RGB and CMYK, it likes to separate those out and convert them. So what I'm going to do is just drag across the teeth and eyes of my furious anglerfish and I'm going to mix a color that I know is outside of the CMYK gamut. So the range of achievable colors in CMYK. So if I go to the Color panel here, what I'm going to do with the green I currently have is maybe steer that a little bit more towards yellow, so in that sort of region there…
