- [Instructor] Symbols form a definition for a piece of artwork. And instances of that symbol will change if the definition changes. That is just one of the many reasons you might consider taking a look at symbols. Let's create some and have a look. I've got my Symbols Panel open here on the right-hand side. That of course lives in the window menu as do the other panels. And I'm going to just select this piece of artwork at the bottom here, or drag that into the panel, which is one way that you can create symbols and call this one Orange, like so. I'm going to make this a static symbol just for now. We'll be doing dynamic symbols in the next movie. Well, let's have a look at the other things inside the panel here.
