- [Instructor] Let's take a look at how stippling works with live text. Here I have some type, just the word stipple set in Myriad Pro Regular. I'll select it and choose Effect, Stipplism, Stipple. I'll accept most of the default settings but maybe increase the quality to seven so the dots more accurately follow the letter shapes. And click OK. And I have a nice stipple effect. Now, at any time I can edit the text to say something else, and the effect is automatically updated. If I want to see the original font, I can hide the effect temporarily in the Appearance panel by clicking on the eye. And click again to bring the effect back. And I can apply a different font to my text. Say I want Minion Pro. Now, one important thing to consider is the different results you'll get when you scale or resize text. First, let's go to the Transform panel and set the preference to scale effects. So we'll choose Window…
