- [Narrator] This time let's start with a basic t-shirt flat and we'll turn it into a dress, change the neckline and change the sleeves. The first thing I'm going to do is ungroup it and then with the white arrow I'm going to select the bottom section and I'm going to move it down. But I'd like the waist to stay where it is and not move around on me so before I drag it down I'm going to drag out a guideline so I can be consistent and I'm going to add an anchor point on either side of the shirt. With the white arrow we'll select everything else and now I can just hold my shift key and my arrow key and nudge it down to whatever length I want the dress to be. Once I get to the length I want, if I need to make the skirt fuller I can do that by selecting the anchor points on either side, and while I'm here I might as well select the anchor points for the stitches, s for scale, ooh what happened?
