Type along a path

- Let's see some of what we can do with Type on a Path. Before I put my type on a path, I'm going to put a color background on my art board by drawing a rectangle over the art board, changing its color, and making sure that we have no stroke applied to that and then locking it. Next I'll place an image. In one of my libraries, I have this vector image of a bee. I want to scale that proportionally, so I'm holding down my touch modifier, rotate it, and position it. I'll now get my pencil tool. I'll check my smoothing currently at seven, which is what I want. And I'll now create my path. I'll come to my notes app where I have some text. Copy that, come back to Illustrator, choose my type tool, tap and drag to create area type. Double-tap to select that, and then replace it with the pasted text that was on the clipboard.
