Type around a circle, part 1

- [Instructor] Let's see how we can put type around a circle. As well as this, I'm also going to throw in a few other tips along the way, and the first of those is how we can use guides. You'll notice there are no rulers as they are in the desktop version of Illustrator. But we can convert lines to guides. So I'm going to start with my pencil tool and so that I'm going to start line. I'll hold down my touch modifier and draw myself a line across the art board. Now, with this selected, I'll come to the Align panel and align that vertically. I'll then duplicate that guide. I'll rotate the copy through 270 degrees. I'm holding down my touch modifier to constrain it. I'll now select both, come to my object panel and make those two lines into a compound path. Come back to my object panel and make that compound path into a guide. Then to my layers panel where I am going to lock that guide. Now it appears in the…
