Type on a path

- [Instructor] Lots of Illustrator projects call for the use of Type on a Path. Let's take a look at some tips to help you to achieve what you want when creating Type on a Path. Now, I'm gonna start up here with this curved line that I've drawn on my art board, and I'm gonna come over here and grab the Type on a Path Tool, which is buried under the Type Tool. Now, I'm just gonna click on this path. You'll notice that whenever you do this, you're gonna lose the stroke that's applied to the path. And I'm just gonna type Explore California. Now, what I want you to see is if I switch to my Selection Tool, whenever you create Type on a Path, you're presented with some key elements to help you to control it. And you'll notice over here on the left, we have what's called the starting bar. Over here on the right, we have the ending bar. And right here in the middle, we have the middle bar. Now, if I click on the starting bar, I can drag this and change where the type starts along the path…
