- [Instructor] Intelligent Join is a feature of the Dynamic Sketch tool that allows you to forget about the nature of Bezier paths, with their anchor points and direction handles, and simply draw lines that create the shapes that you want. Let me show you how it works. I'll start by going to the Dynamic Sketch panel and click on the button with the icon that looks like a couple of crossed lines, right here. And I'll turn off any other buttons that are currently turned on. I'll also turn off the controls for variable stroke width, and go to the Control panel, set my fill to none and increase the stroke width to something like eight points. And I'll just click and drag to draw out a line, and then another line that crosses the first, like so. And when I release my mouse button or lift the pen off my graphics tablet, the new line is joined to the first one. And the way that this feature works is that it retains the longer…
