- [Instructor] The Width Stamp panel gives you two main options for creating the contours that make up the effects you can create. You can choose from a number of preset styles, or you can create and edit your own contours, with a blend object. In this movie, we'll take a look at working with the presets. Here I have eight copies of my slice of pie artwork, and I'm going to use them to see the different effects that I can create with the Width Stamp panel. So I'll select the first slice of pie, and I'll open the Width Stamp panel, by choosing Window, Width Scribe, Width Stamp Panel. Down at the bottom, I have a preset menu. I'll choose half grid, which is the first choice and then I'll go up, and choose Make Width Preset. And you can see that that Half Grid is a set of parallel lines. Now I'll select the next pie, go back to the preset menu, and choose Grid, and again Make Width Preset. So I get crossing…
