- [Man] When it comes to drawing vector shapes in Illustrator, you have plenty of tools and options to choose from. Among them, you have the classic tools like the pen tool, Pencil tool and paintbrush tool, and a few more recent additions, things like the shaper tool and curvature tool. But even with all these choices, it can be hard to draw the exact lines that you want on screen. If you hesitate at the wrong time, or if you have a slightly shaky hand, then the path that you draw can come out all wrong. That's why Astute Graphics added a feature to the DynamicSketch tool called the pulled cursor. With it, you can loosen the connection between your cursor movements and the path that they draw. It gives you the ability to pause in mid drawing and change the direction of the path in a very flexible manner. So let me show you what I mean.
