- [Instructor] Using different effects in Adobe Illustrator, will allow you to either stylize some of the shapes you have, for example, by blurring them or by adding drop shadow effects, but it can also aid you in the creation process of a shape. Let me show you a few examples here. So here I have various icons that are almost done, but I need to add an additional effect in order to finish them all. Now let's start out here with the donut on this side here. Now if I select this circle and just move it to the side for a second here, you can see that there's already a hole in the other shape underneath this circle. I'll just quickly undo this just to put it back into original location. Now I need to work on this just a little bit more, because this shape will be the glazing of the donut. Now in order to accomplish this, I'm going to go up to the Effect menu, and I'm going to choose Distort & Transform, I'm going to choose…
