Using the Anchor Point tool

- In this movie, I'll introduce you to a partner of the pen tool that's known as the anchor point tool. So I'm going to start things off by pressing the control key or the command key on the Mac to temporarily gain access to my white arrow tool. And I'll go ahead and click on this path to select it. Then I'll release the control or command key. And I will click right there. Notice that I'm seeing a plus sign next to my cursor which tells me that I'm going to add a point and if I control or command drag it you can see that it's a corner point. So when you create a new anchor point on the straight segment, it becomes a corner point. If you create a new point on the curving segment it automatically becomes a smooth point. All right, now let's say I want to take that corner point and I want to convert it to a smooth point. Then I would click and hold on the pen tool icon right here. And I would choose the anchor point tool.…
