Using the Curvature tool

- [Instructor] Illustrator provides two tools that allow you to draw custom path outlines, one anchor point at a time. There's the Pen Tool, which we'll take up in the next movie. And then there's the Curvature Tool, which we'll explore in this movie. Specifically, we're going to be using the Curvature Tool to add some hair to this kid on the left so he looks like the kid on the right. And so I'm going to start off by clicking on this kid's bald head with the Black Arrow Tool in order to select it, and then I'll press Control + plus or Command + plus on the Mac a couple of times to zoom in, and then I'll space bar + drag the artwork down. All right, now I'll go ahead and switch to the Curvature Tool, which looks like a pen nib with a little line coming out of it. All right, now notice the cursor is pretty similar, in that it includes an asterisk. That asterisk tells you that the Curvature Tool is ready to start a new…
