Using the Eraser tool

- [Narrator] Now I'll show you how to erase holes into filled path outlines using the eraser tool, which works an awful lot like the blonde brush, except that it's an older tool that does not have the smoothing technology associated with either the blonde brush or the pencil. Alright, so the first thing I want you to do is switch over to the Layers panel, which you can get by clicking on this layers tab in the top right corner of the screen. And then just go ahead and click on the eye in front of the draw layer in order to turn it off so that we can see the template in the background. And notice that I've erase some highlights into the eye. However, as soon as I turn the draw layer back on, we can no longer see those highlights because they're covered up by this big black eye. And so what I'm going to do is go up to the View menu and choose outline in order to switch from the so called preview mode to the outline mode, so…
