Using FindReplace with groups

- [Instructor] In this movie we'll see the power of working with groups in Astute Graphics' FindReplace. In our file we have the state of California composed of a bunch of circular paths that look like solid black dots. And next to that we have this set of 40 emoji icons. And what I want to do is make this map of California more fun by replacing all the plain dots with emoji. So to do that, I'm going to group the emoji, and with the group selected, I'll go to the replace with options and click the eyedropper to select the group. If I move my cursor over the thumbnail, I see that I have a group of 40 objects. I'm going to select pick from group, and then I have the choice of picking randomly or consecutively in the current or reverse order. I like the idea of picking randomly, so I'll choose that. And the other important setting I want is after scaling to match. That's going to scale my emoji down to match the size of…
